We all know yoga helps to keep our body and mind in balance. But most of us has the query how it works.

Yoga is a beautiful science sculpted by our ancient scientist who were Siddhars and Yogis. Everything they did have a science behind it, even the one which we think as a miracle. In such way yoga is a blessing to mankind to fulfil ones need from keeping his body mind balance to self-realisation and even to the extent of attaining immortal – ultra luminal state. Yoga basically works on our energy system which is the base for our life existence. Our energy system is the one which operates our physical and mental functions. Any disturbance in energy flow will result in Dis-ease of mind and body, and the amount of disturbance shows the magnitude of the disease. So, to heal our self and balance our energy system these yogic practices has been instilled as rituals in our routine life.

Every Yogic posture we do activates specific varma (energy storage) points which in turn act as pumping system that flushes the blocks in nadis and chakras, that in turn regulates energy flow. When chakras sets into balance it works on the neuro-endocrine-immune system. As a result, we acquire the tranquillity and awareness in mind and flexibility in body with boosted immune function. During yogic practices it is utmost important to become aware of what we do and how we do. And practice should be slow so that synchronisation of body, mind and breathe is attained with awareness to create energy balance.

This is how yoga has been given to us as Energy Medicine by our ancestors. Lets ingrain yoga in our routines and its our responsibility to pass this tradition to our children for building healthy nation with strong physic and balanced mind.
